Message to all PCSU project managers:
The College of Natural Sciences (CNS) Dean’s Office is proud to announce that the Pacific Cooperative Studies Unit (PCSU) has joined its team of programs and departments. This move is an important step towards promoting visibility of PCSU, and strengthening the ties between PCSU and the other units on campus and beyond.
The CNS Dean’s Office is committed to working closely with PCSU and strengthening the unit for the future. For example, a new and dedicated fiscal staff position for PCSU has been established by CNS, and a faculty position with a focus on developing internship opportunities through PCSU programs has recently been approved.
We look forward to building new research opportunities and hands-on curriculum activities with PCSU to support CNS students, while supporting this critically important conservation and management unit as it heads into its 46th year, under the new and innovative leadership of Director Dr. Shaya Honarvar and Deputy Director Dr. Cliff Morden.
